Club Assembly @ Malacca

Again, we welcome our new term board of directors! :D To Rotarators, 1st of July marks the new year and So happen, our first club assembly and our last term third club assembly goes on consequent two days of the weekend.

11 dedicated members *coughs* attended our club assembly. Well, we touch down around 11 in the morning and with starving tummies we grab breakfast over at the Jonker Street. Chicken Rice Balls of course. :D

Since I came down from Nilai, I got my own breakfast too. So I had the famous Mian Fen Gao. In a way, in KL in fact, we call it Pan Mee. Then I met them up at the Selat Horizon. FYI, it's located quite near to the sea, in Klebang. Sadly, in my opinion, so near yet so far from the sea. Anyways, that was an apartment. Quite cosy in a way. Just a reminder if anyone want to head there, bring your Astro card.

Next, since we are so near to Klebang the all so well known Coconut Shake cannot be missed. Then we took a small turn to Nadeje, *coughs* just to take a look and we tried the Pork Satay too. With satisfied tummy, we head back and start our Club Assembly. Shall not forget our purpose there even with endless temptations around.

Malacca is utmost famous with the Satay Celup. Somewhat steamboat celup in kacang sauce. That was a greedy and a heavy meal I can say. Next to the shop, is the Jing Yuan Biscuit shop. So some of us bought some biscuits back for some munch.

Next, sea breeze is a must. It was actually a good day that day. Wasn't blazing hot at all. Just nice, cloudy. So around 5pm, Michelle brought us to Crystal Bay for second round of Ikan Bakar. Since we are quite bloated, we strolled (okay lahh, we sit lah actually) by the sea side and just have little talks and simply just enjoy the breeze we rarely get in KL.

Stingray Bakar.

According to my Malacca friend, this Crystal Bay Ikan Bakar is by far the best also. Highly recommended. Their sauce are rather special tho.

Ah hah. The sort of climax and essential food of the day is when we all seek for the Putu Piring. LOL. Even the GPS fail us. We went on by instinct and at the edge of giving up, YanJye found it. Lucky day for us, they are selling the last few, and we are the lucky few. This is located somewhere at Jalan Tengkera.

Some of us are wearing down, so we did split up and some went to the Jonker Street. Night is where Jonker is really interesting. The next morning, craving fro Bak Kut Teh, we head some distance off from where we stayed to get them. Honestly, I forgot where.

After lunch, that's the end of our food trip a.k.a Club Assembly and head back to KL. As for me, Like a freelance, I went on to seek for food with my Malacca friend. The reason why am I still telling this story is because I really want to recommend this Tau Fu Fah. That, you see, is not brown sugar, it's ginger.

Whats special? This is really what I call Tau Fu Fah. It's awesomely smooth and after you take the first bite, you'll suddenly feel, all the Tau Fu Fah you had, is not at all. It was a Sunday and it's at the Pasar Malam at Taman Cempaka. Do try if you ever drop by on Sunday night.

Happy New Year to Rotaractors!

Hello!

Allow me to first welcome everyone on board to our new term or 2012/2013. *applause please*

1st of July marks our new year, pretty much referring to the change of term in Rotaract jargon. So,  I decided to put up new colors to our page and made several changes. Looking fresh as ever, no? :D I'm sure some would ask, why red, yellow and white?

Simple answer.
It's matches the Rotaract Club logo.

Opps.
Just before I drift the topic any further, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all outgoing board of directors in Rotaract Club of Pudu, and congratulate all the incoming board of directors. Nonetheless, best regards from RAC Pudu to all other Rotaract Clubs in D3300 too!

We also just held our first Club Assembly in Malacca too. Coming up will be our Installation Night of course. It's our third-ninth term already!

Stick around this page and bookmark it too for more update from RAC Pudu.

Cheers,
HuiJin Liew
