38th Installation for Rotaract Club of Pudu.

Members started to arrive at the Lodge Paradize as early as 2 pm just to help out in preparations and decorations for the big event. Four beautiful ladies and a gentleman are found practising their dance on the stage while others are busy running here and there just to finish the decorations and preparations in time. A last rehearsal was carried out before the clock struck 6 and as it struck 6, everyone started to dress up. The girls dolled up; while the guys adjusted their hairs and tied their ties. Practically everyone made sure that they look graceful and stunning for the evening. We were all anxious and nervous and are praying hard that our big and important night turn out a success.

As our guest arrived, everyone went to their places and did their part. The guests registered themselves at the front desk and are handed out door gifts. There were members who ushered the VIPS to their tables while other Rotaractors gathered among themselves to fill the tables.  As soon as the entire guests have settled down at their respective tables, the event then kicked off. There were performances, speeches, games, lucky draws, and lastly followed by the main event of the night which was the installation of the new board.
The games session was divided into two parts for the entire night.  For the first part of the game, cards were cut into a jigsaw puzzle manner and placed under each guest chair.  The guest would then need to find another three more guest that has the missing part of the card; hence, making a group of four.  Four groups of four were managed to pass the round to proceed to the next game session.  At the next session of the games, the four groups were giving a surprise saying that they would need to dance in the most retro way in order to win. The Joker group, compromising of four Rotarians managed to shake it to the retro rhythm and win the hearts of the guest present that night.

Not forgetting, the food was served buffet style. Halfway through the ceremony, guests were invited to dine. The members of Rotaract Club of Pudu went to each table to sell cup cakes made by our own member, Shiu Siew Ling. Our guests were supportive as they bought the cup cakes without much hesitation. The night ended around half past ten with guests communicating among one another, photos being taken and the bond between Rotractors and Rotarians grew stronger. Another successful event has come to an end, while the Rotaractors of Pudu started the cleaning up to get ready to head back home to rest after a long tiring night of enjoyment and fellowship.
